• 1702 to 1714 – The Queen Anne style replaced straight legs with a cabriole leg and walnut became the preferred wood.
• 1714 to 1727 – Georgian influences ensured carved orientation became popular

• 1760  to 1820 – George the Third – A mixture of neo-classical with Louis the XVI
• 1820 to 1837 – The regency style focused on refined woods such as rose and zebra.
